Salvation

The Road to Salvation

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 We are all sinners. None of us are without sin. None of us are perfect. The first step to salvation is admitting that you are a sinner.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 The wages, or payment, for your sin is death, an eternal death, but, God offers an eternal life through Jesus.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 Jesus paid the price for your sins on the cross. He took your place and made the payment for your sins.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9 If you believe that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved!

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13All you have to do is ask. If you believe that Jesus died for your sins and that he is the Son of God, call upon the Lord to save you!

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1 When you are saved, your sins are washed away and you are given a new, clean slate — a new start.

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1 The only peace that is real in this world is the peace we have through knowing Jesus Christ as our personal saviour. That is the only true peace and the only peace that can last. Do you have it? If not, it’s not too late. Meet Him at the Cross.
